The first obvious advantage is that they are so easy to couple and uncouple. Should something go wrong with your primary mover, simply couple the semi onto another engine and keep on working. Despite these positives, the semi-trailer does have some problems. For example, because of its structure, it is quite difficult to drive a semi-trailer through snow. Regardless of these concerns, semi-trailers are still the first choice for lots of automotive transporters. A new tractor-trailer can transport as much as 12 vehicles. Loading the cars is very simple, as trailers feature hydraulic lamps to facilitate rapid loading. Some ramps are able to save space by tilting a car and loading the next car under the first car’s tilted end. In Car Transport, the responsibility of loading the trailers falls on the driver.
